Audi TCM / Mechatronic / DSG / S-Tronic / Multitronic Services

Audi transmission control units cover DSG / S-Tronic dual-clutch units (DQ250, DQ200, DQ381, DQ500, DL501), Multitronic CVTs (01J, 0AW), Tiptronic conventional automatics (ZF generations), and Aisin units on some platforms. The mechatronic unit on DSG and S-Tronic transmissions houses the TCU and is the most common failure point. This hub will list our Audi TCM bench services as they launch.

Available Services

This hub is reserved for upcoming services. Contact us if you need this work — we can provide a quote based on your specific module and part number.

Not Sure Which Service to Choose?

If you are unsure which option matches your Audi module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.

Compatibility Warning

TCU / mechatronic service requires correct identification of the transmission code (DQ250, DQ200, DQ381, DQ500, DL501, 0AW, etc.) and the mechatronic part number. Different generations are not cross-compatible. Photos of the mechatronic label and your VIN before ordering save shipping costs.

What to Ship

  • Your original Audi module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
  • If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
  • Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
  • Your return shipping address
  • Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

FAQ

Which Audi transmissions are covered when this hub launches? DQ250 (6-speed wet DSG), DQ200 (7-speed dry DSG), DQ381 (7-speed wet DSG), DQ500 (7-speed wet DSG for Q7 / RS3), DL501 (7-speed wet S-Tronic for B8+), Multitronic 01J / 0AW (CVT), and several Tiptronic / ZF generations.

Can the mechatronic be cloned without removing the transmission? The mechatronic has to come out of the transmission for bench work. This is a transmission shop job — we do not perform the removal/reinstall.
