BMW BCM / BDC / FEM / Fusebox Services
On modern BMW F-series and G-series chassis, the FEM (Front Electronic Module) or BDC (Body Domain Controller) replaces the older BCM and CAS functions — handling lighting, central locking, immobilizer, comfort, and several body subsystems. On E-series chassis the KBM gateway/body module performs related functions. We perform BMW FEM / BDC / KBM gateway clone work on the bench for compatible platforms.

Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your BMW module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
FEM / BDC / KBM cloning requires a donor of the same part number prefix and same hardware revision. FEM is not the same as BDC, and F-series modules are not compatible with G-series. Send us photos of the module label before purchasing a donor.
What to Ship
- Your original BMW module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address
- Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

FAQ
What is the difference between FEM and BDC? FEM (Front Electronic Module) is the F-series body controller (2010-2019 3 / 4 / X3 / X4 etc.). BDC (Body Domain Controller) is the F-series 7-Series and most G-series equivalent. Both handle lighting, locking, immobilizer, and comfort.
What is KBM? KBM is the K-CAN Body Module / gateway used on certain BMW E-series — performs body control + gateway between K-CAN and PT-CAN.
What does the clone preserve? VIN, FA (vehicle order), coding, immobilizer pairing data, key data, and personalization. The cloned donor should install plug-and-play with no scanner needed in most cases.
