Mercedes ECU IMMO Off

For compatible Mercedes ECU generations, we can bench-modify the ECU so it no longer requires the immobilizer handshake from the EIS / DAS to start. This is the service to ask for when you have a working engine, working sensors, and a known-good ECU, but the immobilizer chain is broken, missing, or being intentionally removed for an off-road / track build.

Not Sure Which Service to Choose?

If you are unsure which option matches your Mercedes module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.

Compatibility Warning

Not every Mercedes ECU is IMMO-off-capable. Coverage depends on the ECU family (ME, SIM, CDI, EDC17 variant) and the hardware revision. Send us the part number on the ECU label before ordering. We will confirm whether IMMO Off is supported for your specific unit.

What to Ship

  • Your original Mercedes module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
  • If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
  • Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
  • Your return shipping address
  • Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

FAQ

When do I need this service? EIS / DAS module failed and replacement is impractical, salvage rebuild where the immobilizer chain is incomplete, or off-road / track applications where the immobilizer is removed by design.

Will the car still need a key? The ignition switch still mechanically operates. The immobilizer link is what is removed — the car will start with the key turning the EIS without the EIS authenticating to the ECU.

Is IMMO Off legal? IMMO Off is for off-road, race, or salvage rebuild use. Check your local regulations before installing on a street-driven vehicle.
