Mercedes TCM / VGS4 NAG2 / 722.6 / 7G / 9G Services
The Mercedes transmission control unit (TCU / TCM) lives on the conductor plate inside the valve body. The VGS4 NAG2 generation (FBS4, 2014+) is paired to the car like the ECU and EIS — a donor swap requires virginizing or VIN programming. Earlier 722.9 7G (FBS3) and 722.6 generations are also serviced. Send us photos of the conductor plate label or the VGS module label so we can confirm hardware compatibility before you ship.

MERCEDES 722.9 TCU 7G CONDUCTOR PLATE CLONE or RENEW SERVICE
Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your Mercedes module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
VGS / TCU service requires correct identification of the conductor plate or VGS housing — VGS, VGS2, VGS3, VGS4 NAG2, and 722.6 generations are all different and not cross-compatible. The wrong donor will not work. Photos before ordering save shipping costs and turnaround time.

FAQ
What is the difference between VGS, VGS2, VGS3, and VGS4 NAG2? VGS generations correspond to 7G-Tronic / 9G-Tronic transmission generations. VGS4 NAG2 is the FBS4-era unit (roughly 2014+).
Can the conductor plate be cloned without removing the valve body? The conductor plate has to come out of the transmission for bench work. This is a transmission shop job — we do not perform the removal/reinstall.
Does a VGS4 NAG2 clone need a virginized donor? If the donor came from another car, yes — the donor must be virginized to FBS4 factory state before it can be paired to your car.
