Porsche ECU VIN Programming
If you have replaced your Porsche ECU with a used or donor unit and the VIN does not match the rest of the vehicle, the ECU needs to be reprogrammed with your VIN before scan tools, emissions monitors, and adaptation routines agree with the rest of the network.

Nationwide mail-in, 24-hour bench turnaround, 12-month warranty.
Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your Porsche module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module, full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
VIN programming requires the original ECU to be readable at the bench level and the target VIN to be valid for the ECU hardware/calibration.
What to Ship
- Your original Porsche module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address
- Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout

FAQ
When do I need this service? Engine swap with donor ECU, salvage rebuild with replacement ECU, failed emissions inspection due to VIN mismatch, or scan-tool coding refusal due to VIN mismatch.
Do I need to send a donor ECU? No — for VIN programming we only need your existing ECU and the target VIN.
