This service is for Mercedes ENGINE CONTROL MODULE ECU Clone ( copy ) up to year 2005.

OPTIONS:

ECU Cloning is procedure where the original ECU information is copied to the replacement ECU, and allows it to be reused. The Mercedes scan tool is not required to complete the re-installation.

ECU Virginizing is similar to ECU Cloning, ECU Virginizing is a procedure where a known good, used replacement ECU is reconfigured into a like-new or “virgin” state, also known as “renewing”. The ECU can then be used to replace the original, but requires coding using the Mercedes scan tool. Typically this is employed where the original is not salvageable ( flooded burnt etc. )

IMMO delete is the last resort if both options didn’t work or to expansive it will program ECU to no security state.

Mercedes ECU up to 2005 uses an eprom or MPU to store data newer Mercedes 2006 and newer stores data in 3 different locations eprom, MPU and MPU.

    Amazing!!! Shop estimate was $3800 for OEM ECM and programing. I purchased a used ECM on ebay and sent it in with my water damaged module. Everything was back in a week.
