Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your BMW module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
BMW DME / DDE cloning requires a donor of the same hardware family and matching ISN compatibility — MS43 to MS43, MSV80 to MSV80, MEVD17 to matching MEVD17 variant. Mismatched donors will not clone successfully.
What to Ship
- Your original BMW module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address
- Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

Which BMW DME / DDE are supported? MS41 / MS42 / MS43 / MS45 (E36 / E39 / E46), ME 7.2 / 9.2 (E46 / E60 / E65), MSS50 / 52 / 54 (M3 / M5 / M6), MSV80 / MSD80 / MSD81 / MSD85 / MSD87 (E9X / E6X / N20 / N54 / N55), MEVD17.x (N55 / S55 / S58 / N20 / B58), and EDC15 / EDC16 / EDC17 diesel families.
What is ISN? ISN (Individual Serial Number) is the secret pairing key between the DME and the CAS. ISN must be read from the original DME before a donor can be paired correctly to your CAS — we offer ISN read services for compatible DME families.
What is the difference between DME and DDE? DME = Digital Motor Electronics (gas/petrol ECU). DDE = Digital Diesel Electronics (diesel ECU). Both are BMWs name for the engine control unit. Same bench process.
