Chevrolet Radio / Navigation Theftlock Unlock Services
GM radios and navigation head units lock themselves with “Theftlock” when power is removed without a proper authentication exchange (typical after battery disconnect, head unit swap, or anti-theft trigger). The radio displays “LOCKED” or “Theftlock Activated” and refuses to play. We unlock GM Theftlock head units on the bench for many model years from 2000 through current.

Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your Chevrolet or GM module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
Theftlock unlock requires the radio / head unit to be removed and shipped to us. The unlock is hardware-specific — different head units (factory radio vs Bose vs nav-equipped) require different procedures.
What to Ship
- Your original Chevrolet / GM module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address
- Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

FAQ
What causes Theftlock? Removing battery power, swapping the head unit into a different vehicle, or the cars anti-theft system triggering the radio lockout.
What models are supported? Most Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick head units from 2000 through current — including the older Delphi units (2000-2006) and the newer MyLink / IntelliLink / CUE / Bose Premium units (2007+).
Do I get my radio back working? Yes — after the bench unlock the radio is returned ready to install. It will display radio stations and play audio normally without a Theftlock prompt.
