Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your Chevrolet or GM module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
Cluster cloning requires a donor cluster of the same part number prefix and same hardware revision. Different generations (GMT800 vs GMT900 vs K2XX) are not cross-compatible. Send us a photo of the cluster label and your VIN before ordering.
What to Ship
- Your original Chevrolet / GM module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address
- Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

FAQ
What is the famous “GM stepper motor” failure? 2003-2006 GMT800 trucks (Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Yukon, Avalanche, Suburban, Escalade) have a well-documented stepper motor failure that causes gauges to stick, point to wrong values, or sweep randomly. We repair this on the bench.
Will mileage transfer? When the original cluster is readable, mileage transfers to the donor 1:1.
Does this cover the K2XX (2014+) clusters? Yes — K2XX trucks (Silverado / Sierra / Tahoe / Yukon 2014+) are supported as a dedicated service. Send us your cluster label to confirm.
