For compatible Volkswagen ECU generations, we can bench-modify the ECU so it no longer requires the immobilizer handshake from the cluster / Kessy to start. This is the service to ask for when you have a working engine, a known-good ECU, but the immobilizer chain is broken, missing, or being intentionally removed for an off-road / track build.

If you are unsure which option matches your Volkswagen module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
Not every VW ECU is IMMO-off-capable. Coverage depends on the ECU family (ME, MED, EDC15/16/17 variants, Simos) and the hardware revision. Send us the part number on the ECU label before ordering. We will confirm whether IMMO Off is supported for your specific unit.

- Your original Volkswagen module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address

Will the car still need a key? The ignition switch / Kessy still operates the start sequence. The immobilizer link is what is removed.
