We read the original ECU Flash and EEPROM and write every byte onto a compatible donor of the same hardware family — including VIN, ISN, coding, and any aftermarket tuning overlay. Cloning is the alternative to dealer replacement and re-pairing through ISTA / ISTA-D when the original DME has failed but is still readable.

Not Sure Which Service to Choose?
If you are unsure which option matches your BMW module, the safest path is to email or text us photos before ordering: full label of the original module (the one you want serviced), full label of the donor module if you already have one, the part number, hardware revision, and software/calibration sticker, and a photo of the connector pinout if visible. We will confirm whether the service is supported for your specific part number and hardware revision before you order and ship.
Compatibility Warning
Cloning requires a donor DME / DDE of the same hardware family. MS43 to MS43, MSV80 to MSV80, EDC17CP variant to matching EDC17CP variant. The ISN on the donor must match what your CAS expects (or be set to match).
What to Ship
- Your original BMW module (the failed/locked unit), clearly marked “ORIGINAL”
- If applicable: a donor module, clearly marked “DONOR” — same part number family and hardware revision as the original
- Your order receipt printed, or order number written on a slip in the box
- Your return shipping address
- Ship to the address shown on your order receipt at checkout (we operate from 2 locations and route based on tool availability and turnaround)

FAQ
What does the clone preserve? Flash and EEPROM 1:1 — VIN, ISN, coding, customer parameters, and any aftermarket overlay (Dinan / VRSF / Burger Motorsport / Bootmod3 / xHP / MHD content is preserved when readable).
Will I need ISTA / ISTA-D / E-Sys after install? In most cases no — the clone preserves coding so the donor presents the diagnostic tool with the same data as the original.
What if my DME and CAS were both replaced? Both modules need to be paired to each other via ISN. Send us both modules and we will read the original ISN from the working pair and write it to the new pair.
